Now, people who know me would say that I'm a pretty laid back girl. I'm friendly. I'm easy going. I don't get angry. I don't really like to complain much. Unless I'm going through an emo stage.
This girl sitting next to me at work.. Dear god. She bitches and moans about every little thing. I don't know if I can take it much more.
She talks too much. She's going to get me in trouble. I wonder if there is any way to politely tell her to back off so I can do my work.
Hrmm....
I started working the night shift on tuesday and thursday so my roomie and I can save gas. When I come in at 1 it feels really good, like I have a half day. We're also trying to save money in the food dept. I big lasagna, 20 bucks. Food for a week. Next week I'll make some other casserole, i'm not sure what kind yet. Casseroles and lasagna are the way to go. Usually filling, and huge. I might make the cheesy death casserole (cheesy tater tot casserole) next week, but i was hoping to make something more healthy. I think i'll substitute ground turkey for the beef and use LOTS of vegetables instead of just 2 cans. Maybe 3 cans of mixed veggies. Less cheese..,. Cant do anything about the tater tots though, they're my favorite, and i'm not changing them, LOL.
I love cooking. Especially cooking for someone. And really especially
if they enjoy what I've cooked. I need to start browsing the internet
for casserole recipes again. Recipezaar.com, here I come!

I'm sitting here at work, drinking Earl Grey
tea. I was really surprised when I found out that I liked hot tea. But
it shouldn't have surprised me, I guess, because I like cold
unsweetened tea. My cup is sitting right next to my partially cold,
half empty can of diet coke. Right next to that is my black with pink
stitching 2 dollars at hot topic purse. My purse
contains: 1 and 1/2 packs of Turkish Jades(light). 2 lighters. My ID.
My debit card. My insurance card. iPod + Headphones. Cellphone. A
sticky note with my vox password on it. A copy of A Storm of Swords by
George R. R. Martin. A purple plastic comb. Next to my purse is a stack
of papers... Pay schedule, holiday schedule, employee handbook. Next to
that is my monitor. Monitor. Mousepad(covered with stickers), mouse,
keyboard, me, box of tissues, phone, photo, books: Christ the Lord -
Anne Rice, The Memory Keepers Daughter - Kim Edwards, The True and
Outstanding Adventures of the Hunt Sisters - Elisabeth Robinson, Wicked
- Gregory Maguire. Sticky notes, pen, pencil. Calender that I
stare at and wish for friday and payday simultaniously.
It is almost lunch time. Lunch meaning that I move my behind from this chair in front of my desk to the bench outside in the courtyard where I will read and chainsmoke for 30-45 minutes. I will listen to a few of my favorite songs on my iPod. I will be be interrupted by at least 2 people who work in the same buiding that have nothing important to say. "Oh, it's cold out here!" At that point I will have to take off my headphones and ask them what the said like I care.
Anyways.
Thats it.
